Experienced and Knowledgeable

Our staff is made up of professional chimney cleaners who carry certifications from the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), also known as the HVAC Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Association. Our certifications from the CSIA include the Certified Chimney Sweep and Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician badges.

Both certifications require that individuals pass an examination that demonstrates their knowledge of the safety procedures and standards that must be upheld in the construction of fireplaces and chimneys. The path to the NADCA certification is similar, and for a business to be certified, at least one member of the staff must pass this examination.

Additionally, at Apex Air Duct Cleaning & Chimney Services, we have over 40 years of experience serving the residents of Riegelsville, PA. Anything we didn’t learn from studying for the examinations for our numerous certifications, we have learned from decades on the job. We have encountered every possible scenario with a cracked chimney and can fix any problem. Do not waste time and money with less experienced armatures when we are ready to serve you!

Range of Services

Apex Air Duct Cleaning & Chimney Services offers a wide range of chimney cap, chimney crown, and fireplace services. We are trained and ready for routine chimney and fireplace cleaning, inspections, and repairs. There are so many types of chimneys and fireplaces you may have never know were options; this includes masonry, metal, wood-burning, gas, and electric. There are hundreds of styles to choose from to complement the interior and exterior of your home.

Furthermore, we are here to educate you about the many components of a fireplace and chimney; the hearth, smoke chamber, damper, lining, panels, flashing, and cap to name a few. We also offer various resources on our website so the residents of Bucks County and the surrounding areas can learn more about chimney and fireplace installation, maintenance, and safety. Our blog features many articles, including those on topics such as leak repair, animal removal, safety checklist, and more.

Apex Air Duct Cleaning & Chimney Services also offers dryer vent and air duct cleaning in addition to chimney and fireplace maintenance services. We offer full inspections of dryer vents and have many resources listed on our website to help homeowners learn about how to prevent dryer vent fires and make sure that their vents are up to code.

Fires in dryer vents are caused by similar circumstances to chimney fires: too much buildup over time. You should clean the dryer vent in your home twice a year to prevent harm to your family and economic loss.

We strive to similarly educate our clients about air duct maintenance. The air ducts at your property should be cleaned regularly to ensure the air in the building is not polluted. Whatever dust and debris build up in the ducts can contaminate the air.

Furthermore, if there are more people living in your home, you should clean the air ducts more often. 70%-80% of dust is made of human skin cells, and if there are more people present, more dust will accumulate.

Locally Owned

There are many reasons you should always choose a locally owned business in Bucks County over a large corporation to repair your brick chimney. First and foremost, it benefits the local economy. Local business owners will use the money they earn to buy goods from other businesses.

Furthermore, they have an incentive to buy materials and supplies for their services from other local businesses. More money will circulate in the local Riegelsville, PA economy, which will benefit you in turn. Finally, this will create more jobs locally; as the business you purchase goods or services from flourishes, so will the businesses they go to regularly, and they all will hire more people as they expand.

Additionally, if you go to a local business, you will have more control over the product or service you are paying for. When you buy something from a chain such as The Home Depot or Lowes, the product was likely made in an assembly line with thousands more just like it.

If you are speaking directly with the person who made the item, they might be able to add some personal touches at your request. The same applies to services; it is easier for individuals to adapt their services to your needs when they are not answering to a longer chain of command.

Finally, by coming to a local business, you get to know someone in your community. The network of relationships in your town or county will strengthen and you will all be brought closer together. If you choose to go to a chain store, you miss the chance to learn more about someone whose job is to make vital repairs and maintain the safety of those around you. Going to a local business, such as Apex Air Duct Cleaning & Chimney Services, will benefit you and your local community.

Some information about Riegelsville, PA

Riegelsville is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 868 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Philadelphia-Wilmington-Camden Metropolitan Statistical Area, despite being so closely connected to the Lehigh Valley.

Benjamin Riegel founded Riegelsville. The original, and now historic, Riegelsville Inn that he built in 1838 still stands. This historic stone inn has offered food and lodging to Bucks County travelers for over 160 years. The community was named for the Riegel family, as early landowners; they established paper mills across the river in New Jersey. The pictured ‘Riegelsville Hotel’ is in Riegelsville, Pa.

With the completion of the Delaware Canal in 1832, the lands along the Delaware River attracted great industrial development. The movement of coal, a major important product of the area, brought capital & investment to Easton. Boats carried coal, stone, iron, crops and goods from the mills along the 60 miles from Easton to Bristol. Along Canal Street grew one of the largest industrial manufacturing centers of America during the 1830s and 1840s. Easton continued to prosper as a center for industry, manufacturing, commerce, and culture at the Forks of the Delaware and along the great rail lines. Between 1904 and 1926, Riegelsville was served by electric passenger and freight trolleys of the Doylestown & Easton Street Railway Company. Riegelsville prospered when the Delaware Canal opened in 1832 with warehouses and factories lining its banks. The canal closed in 1931 after 99 years of service and was replaced by the railroads. Today, Riegelsville is a peaceful and quiet town. Woods and fields border the Delaware Canal; remnants of crumbling stone foundations along its banks are reminders of a busy past.

Riegelsville was a mill town in the late 1880s and 1900s. The borough overlooks the Delaware River, spanned by the 1904 Riegelsville Bridge built by John A. Roebling’s Sons, Co. and connecting with Riegelsville, New Jersey. It is one of the approximately three dozen bridges spanning the Delaware River between Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
